Currency:

You will need to bring some Japanese yen with you to Niseko-Hirafu area as credit cards are not as widely accepted or used as in Australia.

The nearest ATM machine is in Kutchan town which is 10 minutes away by bus.

Getting There:

Train: You can also get to Hirafu by train. The train arrives at Kutchan, a big town near Hirafu. The train is a bit more complicated than the bus but everyone is very helpful.
